Student Supervision Workshop
What?
How can we fuel the motivation of the student? What attitude serves me and the student? What is my supervision style and where does it come from? How to innovate student supervision? We meet outdoors on Zurichberg in order to reflect on our supervision styles and will address above questions with interactive and experience based methods. Further, you will have the chance to bring your questions and ideas to discuss with your peers.
A Hero’s Journey through the PhD studies
What?
During this 2 day canoe adventure you will experience an active break in nature, a sense of community, adventure spirit and time for reflection and exchange. We will have a fun time on the water, enjoy jointly cooked outdoor meals and spend day and night in nature. The time in nature slows us down, widens our perception and allows a switch of perspective. The hero’s journey metaphor will accompany us. This will help you to gain a new view on challenges that you are facing, on the essence that you learn from these and on your past, current and future callings.
Well-being canoe day
What?
You will experience a day on a beautiful river, learn some canoeing basics and enjoy a delicious outdoor meal together with your colleagues. The questions ‘What gives you energy and what keeps you in the flow?’ will accompany us during the day. You can look forward to fun river adventure and interesting discussions with your colleagues.
